Where to post PR job openings
Written by KATIE TEST DAVIS
One of the questions I get asked frequently is “where should I post my open communication and PR role?”
So I sat down and made a round-up list of some of our favorites.
Plus, we’ve included other paid and free options that we’ve either a) heard good things about or b) our clients have had good first-hand success with.
Happy hiring!
Places We’ve Personally Had Good Success
Cause-driven jobs
Typically more affordable than other paid options
National reach, but can filter locally
Specifically focused on communications jobs in the nonprofit sphere
Advocacy or communications listservs
Listservs that you’re already on as part of a coalition, or other professional association groups, are a great place to post job openings
For example, we’ve found success with RadComms and listservs such as Progressive Communicators of DC
Professional-focused social media groups
Search out and join LinkedIn groups (ie: Public Relations and Communications Professionals) that have large memberships in the related field
Search out Facebook groups that have large memberships in the related field
Sign up for our email newsletter to receive all of our best ideas, straight to your inbox
